I also expect a few more DirectX cards showing up this month to choose from. As for CPU, I would go with either an AMD FX-8350 or Intel i5-4790k respectively. 16GB of ram will also go well to handle those larger projects.

For those more leaning towards video editing, I would invest in large capacity SSD’s to handle those large files and not have to take a break every time you move a project. But if you plan on gaming, editing videos, or simply want the best, then I would go with some higher power options here, like SSD’s for speed and boot times, with an SATA HDD with 1TB or greater for storage, a graphics card with DirectX 12 support. Sure, for basic browsing this is all you need. It really depends on what you plan to do with your pc.

Remember the minimum requirements are just that, the most minimum to run the software properly. “It’s an older code, sir, but it checks out.” AT least it’s free to get, so no worries here. Sounds like everyone using a Windows OS will need an Outlook account in the near future, let’s hope our old Hotmail account still works. Graphics CardĭirectX 9 cards work here with a WDDM driver, which does cover most of the cards out there. Most of us are running a minimum of 1TB by now anyway. Keep in mind 16GB isn’t much, and we can guess that’s only the initial space needed.
